Analogue CCTV (CVBS)
If you are most interested in an analogue system, start by asking yourself what the system should be. If you have special requirements for your analogue system to provide sharp and clear images, you should basically go for a recording quality of 960H resolution. CIF and D1 are outdated standards and are in phasing out why we do not recommend these systems. In addition, we recommend that your surveillance camera has at least 700 TVL (TV Lines) as this gives a nice picture for analog cameras.
Unfortunately, this is not enough. Because even if you have purchased a high-end surveillance camera, it is equally important that the hard disk recorder (DVR) can handle it. Therefore, you must pay particular attention to the fact that no matter who you choose as a supplier of your video surveillance system, you always ensure that the DVR machine can handle the same resolution as the surveillance camera. That way, you get the most out of your investment.
